This place will definitely stand out as you walk along Lorne street, with its picturesque set up. Don’t let the size of this place deceive you because they do have more seating at the back in a beautiful courtyard, surrounded by sunlight and greenery. You can definitely see why this place is so popular, with its lush setup and and welcoming staff. There is even a room which would be perfect for private events or functions.
My friends and I had the popular Kimchi Waffle Fries ($16) that is popping up on everybody’s instagram feeds. The fries were good but the toppings were average – you really don’t get much kimchi or bacon. We also ordered ice matcha’s ($6), muffin ($4.50) and a chocolate banana smoothie ($9)
I really enjoyed both the muffin and iced matcha and would recommend trying. I may be a bit bias though because I love everything matcha.
Overall, I really liked my experience here. They have so many interesting options on their menu that I would love to try out. Food is on the pricey side though as a smoothie was $9 and was really small. However, the atmosphere and decor of this place is stunning and would be perfect for anyone looking for some down time to relax.
